Gold medal winning Wedgwood Garden at the RHS Show at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire
Earlier this year we were fortunate enough to be contacted by award winning garden designer Sam Ovens who wanted us to collaborate with him in this year inaugural Royal Horticultural Society Chatsworth Flower Show. He had been commissioned to design the primary sponsor Wedgewood’s garden and was looking for local expertise to build the garden; needless to say be jumped at the chance.
The installation in mid May happened to coincide with some of the wettest weather of the year, but that didn’t stop us. Despite this being our first show garden everything ran to schedule and the finished result was impressive. The Judges agreed and award the garden a Gold Medal.
Everyone here at James Bird Landscapes is very proud of all the hard work put in, the conditions endured and the finished garden.
